Welcome to our place — think of it as my living room, just with better food and drinks. Whether you’re dropping in for a quick snack and a glass of wine, settling in for cocktails, or gathering with friends for a relaxed dinner, you’re always welcome here.

What makes us different? It’s the people. Our team is all about creating that easy, genuine warmth you’d find at a great family get-together — the kind where you feel comfortable right away (but without the chaos of that one drunk uncle!).

Our menu takes its cues from French and English classics, brought to life with the best, freshest New Zealand ingredients. It’s food that feels familiar, comforting, and just a little bit special.

Over time, we know our signature dishes will be the ones you come back for again and again. For now, we’re proud to serve up favourites we love — think proper fish and chips, a great scotch egg, and plenty more to discover.

More than anything, we want you to feel like part of the Clapham family while you’re here - relaxed, looked after, and completely at home.

You’ll find us in the lively, ever-growing neighbourhood of Birkenhead. Full of great hospitality spots and a buzzing local scene. Because good food, good drinks, and good company are even better when shared.
